This is Rite One of The 13 Sacred Rites | Mystery School. Temple of Flesh is where it all begins… the remembering of your body as the first and original temple.
Before religion built cathedrals, before empire built hierarchies, the body itself was the altar. Your flesh, your breath, your pulse, all of it was how humans met the divine.
This rite traces how that knowing was dismantled: how empire and church replaced embodied reverence with obedience and fear, how the sacred was relocated from within us to institutions outside of us, and how that separation still lives in our relationship to our bodies today.
Temple of Flesh is not about idealizing the body… it’s about ending the war against it. It’s about recognizing how deeply control systems depend on your disconnection from your flesh,
and reclaiming presence as your most radical form of power.
